Non- Profit Agency Services Specialist (Bilingual)

St. Mary?s Food Bank Alliance has an opening for an Agency Services Specialist (CSFP), located in our Phoenix office. This position is responsible for training, development and compliance of all Commodity Senior Food Program (CSFP) sites in the Arizona Department of Economic Security (ADES) contract service area for St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance.

Key Responsibilities of the Agency Services Specialist (CSFP) include, but are not limited to:

  • Regularly visiting CSFP sites to build relationships and improve knowledge of sites, site coordinators, distribution date(s), order status, inventory and participation reports.
  • Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers and assisting in problem solving with CSFP sites using critical thinking skills.
  • Training site coordinator(s) on distribution, inventory, reporting, and communication requirements.
  • Overseeing homebound delivery CSFP certification process.
  • Ensuring certification and recertification of CSFP clients and related reporting.
  • ADES reporting including but not limited to, participation counts, demographics of clients, and ending inventory.
  • Collecting relevant reports from sites in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy.
  • Working collaboratively with ADES for implementation of CSFP policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining existing distribution sites and developing and training new CSFP sites in assigned service area.
  • Coordinating distribution dates with Agency Services, Allocations, and Logistics and Transportation departments.
  • Creating reports in food bank database systems (CERES and Link2Feed).
  • Calculating sites? needed food relative to ending inventory and needed distribution levels.
  • Overseeing CSFP product distribution, monitoring and visiting sites on a regular basis, and assisting agency efforts to distribute food to clients.
  • Conducting annual agency audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Safety sensitive position.
    • Associate?s degree, Bachelor?s preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Demonstrated customer service skills.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent written, verbal and public speaking skills.
    • Some previous training experience is preferred.
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
    • Previous database experience is a plus.
    • Able to travel - up to 50%.
    • Bi-lingual (Spanish) required.
