Agency Services Specialist

St. Mary's Food Bank is currently seeking an Agency Services Specialist. The Agency Services Specialist will be responsible for training, development and compliance of all programs executed by agency partners within an assigned geographic region. Programs include TEFAP, emergency food, donated food, grocery rescue and agency shopping.

Job Duties:

  • Overall responsibility and knowledge of agency partnerships with SMFBA in assigned geographic region
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist in problem solving with assigned agencies using critical thinking skills
  • Overall responsibility to monitor and audit assigned agency partners for USDA, DES, and Feeding America compliance related to specific program and food safety requirements
  • Overall training responsibility of assigned agencies to bring them into compliance as needed
  • Overall responsibility for monthly agency reporting in assigned geographic area including analysis of product being used and waste, if applicable
  • Document and record any complaints related to assigned agencies, investigate, report to DES and in consultation with Manager place on probation, suspension or termination as appropriate
  • Knowledge of CERES, Link 2 Feed, and all Agency Services databases in order to provide monthly status reports
  • Coordinate distribution dates and product with Agency Services, Allocations, Logistics and Transportation

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s preferred
  • Demonstrated Customer Service Skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written, verbal and public speaking skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Valid AZ Driver’s License, Able to travel as needed
  • Bi-lingual preferred
