Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking a temporary Data Entry Clerk at St. Mary?s Food Bank Alliance (SMFBA) to transfer data for CSFP Commodity Senior Food Program) from one database to another. This assignment will begin in March and will end mid-June. Work hours are:

Pay is $12.00/hour.

Hours: Monday ? Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Founded in 1967, St. Mary?s is known as the world?s first food bank. Our mission is to alleviate hunger in our state by gathering and distributing food to those in need while encouraging self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk include, but are not limited to:

-Work efficiently within a team environment.
-Ability to identify differing documents and/or errors.
-Maintain a record of completed work.
-Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data.
-Maintain confidentiality and security of client information per client guidelines.
-Maintains levels of productivity and quality based on department standards.

Minimum Qualifications Sought:

-High school Diploma or GED.

-Minimum of 1 year data entry experience.

-High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required

-Strong organizational skills.
-10-Key proficiency (a minimum of 10,000 alpha numeric and 10-key strokes per hour (KSPH) accurately.

-Typing 40-50 words a minute.

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook and Excel.

-Bilingual (Spanish-English) a plus.
